Week 26 & 27 (3 August - 10 August 2020)

 Assalamualaikum & Hello!

For this two weeks, I just helping assistant senior manager adjusted her paper work format about “CADANGAN PEMBELIAN BARU LORI TANKER BAGI SYARIKAT AIR DARUL AMAN (SADA) MELALUI FASILITI KEMUDAHAN PINJAMAN BIMB” and doing my project internship with with the permission of my supervisor. Beside, on 10 August was my last day internship at SADA and they make a small farewell for me.

From this two weeks, I don't get any task either from my supervisor or senior assistant manager. So, I just did my project which is analyse my internship project.

13 July 2020

On this day, I need to key in the updated data into iFAS SADA system as well as classify the in/out quarters forms from Water Treatment Plant:

  • Bukit Pinang
  • Pelubang
  • Sungai Ular
  • Sungai Petani/Pinang Tunggal


14 July 2020

On this day, I need to key in the data from in/out quarters forms in Microsoft Excel as well as print out the data for senior executive classify whether the staff meet the eligibility to apply to rent the quarters.

As usual, I need to continue my previous task which to key in and update immovable asset's data in i-FAS SADA system. So today, I need to update list of Water Treatment Plant in Kedah.


06 July 2020

On this day, I need to continue with yesterday task but I need to key in Microsoft Office Excel and need to print one-by-one.

07 July 2020

My supervisor give a task for my team. We need to go to Department of Housing to obtain development data which is pump house and water tank data or suction tank from development planning plan. From here, I get the opportunity to learn how to recognize a sketch of a pump house from development plan.

Actually, I forgot to inform that my team's task at Department of Housing is until 12 July 2020.

I am attend a discussion in handling i-FAS system with staff Department of Asset Management including senior manager in that department. The meaning of i-FAS is

F : Financial
A : Accounting
S : System

30 June 2020

On this day, I attended a practical training on the i-FAS SADA system to update immovable asset's data from printed hardcopy into i-FAS SADA system.

01 July 2020

From 01 July 2020 until 16 July 2020, I need to update and key in immovable asset's data into i-FAS SADA system. For today, I need to key in data "Pump House & Water Tank in Southern Region". I manage to key in 22 data because I start to key in the data on 3.00 PM.





02 July 2020

I continue the previous task which is key in another 26 data from "Pump House & Water Tank in Southern Region" and also I got 2 more data which is "Pump House & Water Tank in Langkawi Region" and "Water Suction in Southern & Eastern Region"

On this day, I learn how to make a memo letter to inform that I as practicum student from UUM and Department of Asset Management want to make a research for practicum purpose.

I started to distribute my questionnaire to employees that had been choose based on stratified simple random sampling. This method had been teach when I was in second-year at Universiti Utara Malaysia.

I am helping senior assistant manager in handling previous paperwork and discuss with my supervisor about the title for my internship project that will be handle by me. From the discussion, I want to do survey about 'The Effect of Work Performance and Work Environment on Employee Performance in Headquarter of Syarikat Air Darul Aman' but my supervisor want me to do the Comparison in Work Environment and Work Performance between Headquarter and Northern Region 1 of Syarikat Air Darul Aman.

It was my first day after Covid-19 in Kedah gradually recovering and this time, SADA's office hour had been change from 8.00 AM until 5.00 PM to 8.00 AM until 1.00 PM because it is still in Conditional Movement Control Order. On this day, I am assist senior assistant manager of Department of Assets Management to update paperwork format "Job Proposal in the Asset Management". There is one of the items in that paperwork;

01 June 2020 

Starting from 01 June 2020, I need to assist senior assistant manager to settle her paperwork which is two paperwork until senior manager of Department of Asset Management approved. The paperwork is for vehicle financing loan for SADA from Maybank Berhad and BIMB.

For week 4 until week 6, I need to continue with previous  first task since I just do for office supplies (types of paper, types of envelope, and others thing that related with paper). My supervisor want me to analyse all office supplies with others year which in 2019, 2018, 2017, and 2018. Unfortunately, I cannot continue to finish my work because Corona Virus Disease 2019 already exist in Malaysia and the Malaysia’s government had done Movement Control Order to alleviate this disease from continuing to be infected by the people.

On this week, my supervisor give me a task to analyse the number of immovable assets in each district in Kedah according to the list from each region of Syarikat Air Darul Aman Sdn Bhd.

For this week, I need to continue the previous task to analyse office supplies for year 2019. To facilitate the task of analyzing, I have  to create abbreviation for every department and the items of office supplies. I also have been learned how to use office equipment such as the biggest punch and photocopy machine.

Today is the day where I'm going to start my new journey which is my first time in internship life as a student to complete my degree. The day I arrived at SADA, I have been briefed by human resource manager about the rules and regulations in SADA and one of human resource staff gave me a copy of holiday request form. I was assigned to the Department of Asset Management under supervision of Mr. Kamaludin bin Ahmad (Executive Department of Asset Management). He gave a briefing and introduced me to the employees in this department. On that day, I only need to complete all documents that provided by UUM with human resource manager and my supervisor.

11 February 2020

I have been given a task to key in all office supplies data from manual book to Microsoft Excel. I also need to analyse the data which is office supplies for year 2019 and graphical the data to know:
  • Which department use the highest office supplies?
  • Which month and department use the highest office supplies?
  • What purpose they use it with the highest amount of that office supplies?
The time they provided for me to settle all of this is 2 weeks (11 - 24 February 2020).
